
z Debuted in professional hockey at 16. At 17, signed with Kyiv’s “Sokol”, and by 18 moved to a foreign club. Played under contracts across Europe, named Best Goalie of the League in the 2008/09 season. Was invited to the Ukrainian national team and took part in the World Championship (Group B).
Graduated from the Higher School of Coaches in St. Petersburg. Founded a professional hockey club and served as its playing president. Now coaches young goalies in Germany.
Believes in hard work, technique, and daily training.
His advice to young goalies: throw a tennis ball against the wall 1000 times every day, train on balance discs, and work on skating — a goalie should skate like a forward.
