When Vin watched a live ice hockey game for the first time in February 2023, something happened that none of us could have predicted. While other children might simply marvel at the speed and intensity of the game, something much deeper grabbed hold of Vin — a mix of excitement, ambition, and an unshakable desire to become part of this fast-paced sport himself. That same evening, he knew: I want to play ice hockey.
Only a few months later, in July 2023, the moment had come: Vin officially became a member of the Füchse Duisburg. Even in the U7, it was clear that a special talent was emerging. The team dominated the 2023/2024 season — and Vin was right in the middle of it, learning, competing, and winning.
But his real leap in development began in April 2024. Through the camp training with Anton Tsipan, Vin discovered a completely new world: technique, precision, and creativity on the ice. Curiosity turned into passion, and passion turned into nearly an entire summer filled with training. Hour after hour, he refined his skills, explored new movements, and absorbed every experience like a sponge. This period shaped him — not only as a player, but as a character on the ice.
The rewards came quickly: in the 2024/2025 season, Vin became one of the leaders of his team. He scored game-deciding goals, took responsibility, and proved that he wasn’t just able to keep up — he could lead. His teammates followed him, his coaches trusted him, and Vin continued to grow beyond his own limits.
Today, he not only plays successfully in the U9A but already competes with the older U11A — and even there, he sets the pace. With impressive consistency and fearless joy for the game, he scored more than half of the team’s total goals. For someone who saw his first hockey game not so long ago, this is an extraordinary achievement.
And now, a new door is opening: his selection for the Hockeystaff International team. It’s a chance to compete at an international level, gain new experiences, and grow both personally and athletically. An opportunity few young players receive — and one that Vin has more than earned through his passion, courage, and talent.
This is not just the story of a child who found a hobby. It is the story of a young athlete discovering his path, pushing his limits, and becoming, day by day, the player he strives to be.
