
Marcin was born on January 18, 1985, in Limanowa. He took to the ice as a small child and today has over 35 years of hockey experience.
In 2003, he was selected in the fifth round of the NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild. He played for teams such as the Vancouver Giants (WHL, Canada) and HC Oceláři Třinec in the Czech Republic. Throughout his career, he represented clubs from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Finland.
As a member of the Polish national team, he played over 200 international games and served as the team captain for eight years.
After retiring from professional play, he now uses his extensive experience in coaching, focusing on discipline, technique, and understanding of the game.
“Discipline is extremely important – hockey is daily, hard work.”
And for goalkeepers, he has one simple piece of advice:
“Always keep the puck in sight and hold your stick between your legs.”
